Qooid’s mission is to provide a space for free and democratic expression aimed at an international audience. It is the only complete, global, multimedia platform on the web, and encourages the same sort of multidisciplinary work that many creative minds find themselves performing daily. Qooid is therefore able to cater to a demand which is as yet unsatisfied by social media and networks.
Qooid is not only tailored to creative professionals, it is also for fans and amateurs. As its design puts maximum emphasis on content, all work is given equal visibility and opportunity.
All users have a profile, a personal space in which to tell the community who they are and what they do. They can upload large audio, visual, video and textual content, search for other users’ content and purchase the rights to use it. Users can set up competitions to request content which is not yet present on the portal. They can create groups to share their interests with the community, brainstorm on topics of mutual interest, promote and spread ideas and content on the web. They can also follow other users whose creations inspire them.

Make opportunities for yourself! Fill in your profile: the more complete and accurately detailed it is, the more the community can understand you and your creations.
Give your material a place and time, by posting where and when it was created: this will make your work more appealing to many more users.
Ask those who purchase your material to leave you feedback: this will draw attention to the quality of your creations and you'll earn prestige and visibility in the community, and throughout the world.
We have your security at heart
Qooid’s mission would compromised without an effective system protecting the rights linked to using the creative content. Users have the right to decide how much of their material can be freely displayed in "preview" mode, and what type of license is required to download it (Attribution, Attribution + ShareAlike, Attribution + NoDerivatives, Attribution + Noncommercial + NoDerivatives).
Also, the "Report misuse" function allows you to notify us about any copyright infringement, improper use of content, or any material which can be considered illegal, defamatory and/or libellous, vulgar, racist, sexist, offensive, in violation of the privacy of others’, or otherwise objectionable.
In this way, Qooid users can interact with each other and enjoy or buy other users’ material with the utmost clarity and confidentiality.
